Governor KP impressed with e-payment apps in China

PESHAWAR, Jan. 13 (Gwadar Pro) - “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has further strengthened China-Pakistan friendship and the corridor will boost the economy of the country,” said Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali.
The Governor expressed these views at a ceremony held at China Window Peshawar to celebrate in advance of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong also attended the event via video link which was held earlier this week.
The Governor was deeply impressed by Chinese people’s dedication to serving their country. “I have been to China so many times where I have observed the Chinese are adopting a new way of life; they introduced economic policies different from the rest of the world,” he said.
During his visits to China, the Governor was impressed with the “cashless and digital payment system” of the Chinese people and the gadgets and e-payments apps being used in mainland china. According to him, Pakistan can also follow China’s footprint in digital payment system.
Regarding the all-weather friendship between Pakistan and China, Ghulam said, “If both countries continue to stay on the same page, their friendship will determine the path of progress for the rest of the world.”
