Pak-China JCCI organizes relief camp for flood victims

LAHORE, Sept. 4 (Gwadar Pro) - Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCJCCI) organized a flood relief camp for the victims of monsoon rains and catastrophic floods in the country.
The camp was organized by the members of PCJCCI who collected funds, editable items and other necessary goods for the flood victims. “We will be distributing dry food items, and other essentials among the flood victims of affected areas,” PCJCCI said in a statement.
Since mid-June, monsoon rains and floods have killed 1,265 people besides leaving 12,577 injured. During this period, at least 1,427,039 houses were damaged either partially or completely. The rains and floods have affected 33,046,329 people, of which 672,793 have been shifted to relief camps.
