Quality life taking roots in Gwadar

ISLAMABAD, Dec. 29 (Gwadar Pro) – At the end of 2021, footprints of quality life are in sight in Gwadar with changing city line by emergence of new markets, housing schemes, shopping centers, increasing transport services, carpeted roads, hospitals, sports stadiums, parks, educational institutions, commercial entities, eateries at coastal belt and picnic spots.  

Most localities have been bustling with commercial activities where new buildings are offering healthy sightseeing at Marine Drive, Syed Hashmir Road, Ustad Abdul Majeed Road and Capt ® Tariq Zehri Road. Two or three stories commercial structures painted with flamboyant colors are the new vistas. Public and private banks with ATM machines are sprawling both sides of main arteries of city of Gwadar offering insight among people that financial institutions set their foot in those areas where businesses are on rise.   

Transporters have also established their bus services with adding more vehicles in their fleet. Before bus service from Gwadar to Quetta was not available. Now many commercial transporters like Almumtaz Transport Company, Aldawood Transport Company, have operated Gwadar-Quetta bus service. Meanwhile, people of Gwadar are also seeing trip acceleration from Gwadar to Karachi as well.  

Among many house societies, New Town locality is brimming with big sizes luxurious houses whose market value ranges from Rs. 20 million to Rs. 50 million. Rent of houses has also seen a jump as rented houses are witnessing a good demand. Average house rent has been inflated from Rs. 20000 to Rs. 30000 per month. Many hotels are also sprouting in the proximity of new developed area.  

In terms of sports landscape, jaw-dropping cricket stadium at Gwadar Port Road has made everybody sit up and take notice. New Football stadium is also on anvil. Government allocated Rs20 million for the stadium and another project, Baba-e-Bizenjo Football stadium, in Gwadar. In Gwadar, local fishermen go fishing in the morning wearing their football jerseys, and after returning in the evening they play football bare- feet on the beaches.
